Went visiting Concorde Alpha Charlie at Manchester Airport 2 years ago. Absolutely marvelous! A nice 45 minutes look around the inside and outside of her and a talk about her, plus a drop of champagne. The best bit that I enjoyed was sitting in the flight deck/cockpit. What a brilliant experience. All the dials, instruments, levers etc. Enjoyed myself immeasurably. What a great day I had. Then watching other aircraft landing and departing for a few hours in the beer garden at The Airport pub. Brilliant!
