This summer’s issue features the spectacular round-the-world tours that both British Airways and Air France operated with Concorde.
There were 53 of these special charters, in which luxury was combined with record-breaking speed. Most amazing of all, in two of the tours, Air France Concorde F-BTSD set world speed records for circumnavigation of the Earth in an airliner. Those records still stand today.
We hear from some of the people who made the tours possible, and feature accounts from participants in those epic record-breaking flights.
