In a slightly belated issue, we celebrate the move of Concorde G-BOAF (Alpha Foxtrot) into her new, purpose-built home, after 14 years standing on the airfield at Filton.
Alpha Fox will form a centrepiece for the new Aerospace Bristol museum, to open this summer. The museum will feature the technological achievements from more than 100 years of aerospace work at Filton. We have a statement from the museum, as well as an eye-witness account from Mach 2 contributor Nigel Ferris.
Our other main feature is a detailed look at the association between Concorde and the Avro Vulcan, with an article kindly provided by the Vulcan to the Sky Trust.
