One of the ways in which Concorde lives on for so many of us is in the wealth of photographs and film of the aircraft. The most spectacular of these images are those taken of the aeroplane in flight. In this issue, we hear from a photographer assigned to take spectacular air-to-air photographs of Concorde.
Mach 2 is delighted to feature the amazing aerial photography of former RAF photographer Rick Brewell, who accompanied Concorde on the 50th anniversaries of the Battle of Britain and of D-Day, and whose photograph of G-BOAA with the Spitfire over the White Cliffs of Dover has become iconic for so many of us.
Mach 2 also looks at an unusual item of new Concorde memorabilia, and brings the latest news of Concorde maintenance and restoration from Manchester, Duxford and Orly.
